Almost a year ago, I paid to go to the Blogher Blogger’s conference to be held in New York City this summer. As many of you know, I had some unexpected surgery in early July which has really slowed me down. It also prevented me from going to this conference. I was so disappointed at first and even thought that maybe I could take the trip anyhow and just “go slow” but the more I moved about in my recovery at home, I realized that pulling a suit case, pushing through turn stiles and going in and out of metro terminals probably would be too much. My girls would just have to go it together and I was so thankful they went anyhow.
So, as soon as we got to the airport, we had an “usie” taken and then when they got together in New York City, they took another usie of which I was a part again, but this time on a fan! So, I guess I did make it to New York City.
