Breakfast Blend – Butternut Squash, Oatmeal, Brown Sugar

Checkout this breakfast smoothie! This is simple and filling for those on-the-go mornings. I like to make a large batch and freeze in reusable pouches. When I want one in the morning, I simply grab out of the freezer and place under running hot water for about 3-5 minutes – PERFECT!

Ingredients:

2 cup Butternut Squash
1tbs brown sugar
1/3 cup quick cook oatmeal
1 cup of water

Directions:

Peal and steam squash. Place all ingredients in blender. Puree until completely smooth or until desired consistency. Add more water or even a little maple syrup. Enjoy!
