Blue eggs are a mystery! We’ve all seen brown eggs and white eggs but when you go to the nesting box and a blue egg leans in it’s just a pleasure in this world to gather it into the basket.
We have 2 Americauna hens left in our flock. Recently, we lost one and were so hurt over the loss but in the sadness of her leaving us, Goldie began laying blue eggs which has brought much conversation and happiness in and around the barn yard area.
Our 46 chickens are now laying almost a dozen eggs a day. We went from none to one to almost 12 a day and it’s very refreshing to go out there and come away with a basket full including a blue one provided by “Goldie”. The blue one is really a mystery!
I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening in our chicken and rooster world.
While things are mysteries in terms of the grandeur of God’s creation, there needs to be no mystery as to what’s going on out there! I’ll keep you posted!
