Being fully prepared for any situation makes life so much easier. Since we spend so much time in the car, having all the family essentials at your finger tips is a must. Prior to motherhood, all I needed was my bikini, towel, flip flops and chapstick. Things have definitely changed! In a matter of seconds, I may need a number of things and finding a store is not almost an option.

Over the past eighteen months, I have compiled a list of  must-haves in your mommy-mobile.

Wet Ones – These citrus antibacterial wipes are just what any parent needs to keep things clean. They are not only good for your hands but your face or to use for just about anything!  The round wipe canister fits perfect in a cup holder. I have a cup holder in my lower door which is perfect for the quick reach.

Tissues – Travel size Kleenex are super handy and can be stored in glove box, diaper bag, travel kit.

Clamp Umbrella – This umbrella is not only good during the rain but to shield the sun. Having a umbrella with a clamp is super handy. Whoever thought of this was a complete genius!

Blank Stationery – Stationery truly comes in handy for those mommy-brain moments when you forget a birthday card, thank you note or just want to leave a quick note for someone.

Emergency diaper/wipe stash – A diaper bag in most cases does not leave your car but what about the times you forget to refill your only diaper bag. Having a emergency stash is a must have. To ensure success, keep 4-6 diapers and a pack of wipes in a clear zip lock bag in the rear of your car.

Pen & sticky notes – These two items come in handy almost every single day. You could keep with your stationery.

Feminine products – This is a no brainer but I have found keeping a stash in the glove box and diaper bag makes my chances of finding one in those MUST have moments easier.

Duck tape – This is rarely used but let me just tell you if you are ever in need of a quick fix, duck tape will handle it.

First aid kit – A mini first aid kit is always needed.
