Every day that we breathe, we take faith to it’s ultimate definition. To have faith is to believe in something so very strongly even if we have not nor cannot see it. The Holy Scripture says that ” Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen….” Hebrews 11:1.
Our faith matters. It is of great importance that we hold to truths that we know to be so and yet cannot see them. We know that God exists because of things done in our world and yet we do not “see” Him. We believe that He is because we read of His great truths in the Bible and see His masterful creation.
We live by faith in our world and not by sight. By faith Abel offered unto God. By faith Enoch pleased God. By faith Noah built a boat. By faith Abraham obeyed God.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. Let us all seek to live by faith. Let us please God with our lives.
