Despite the brutal heat, 123 teams in 6 divisions played their hearts out this past weekend. These folks traveled from all over the country to fight for the 2016 Military World title. Each team was required to qualify, pay an entry fee, attend a manager’s meeting, have their bats inspected, wear similar uniforms and abide by all rules set forth by the governing body, USSSA.
USSSA Military Worlds 4-day tournament brought out tons of friends and family and we were really grateful to be a part of this event with these people. Every one of our men and women felt right at home because of the home crowd in Augusta. From welcome signs, to a variety of vendors, it was a weekend of events to remember forever.

While Militia/4TheFallen starts their workup for the Majors, they are also offering new opportunities for businesses to become sponsors. If you might be interested in sponsoring Militia, your contribution would go towards the growing cost of the players. In exchange for your commitment, sponsors will have promotional opportunities at a national level. Not only could this benefit the softball team but also market your company at the ESPN Wild World of Sports at the Major World Series. Militia is currently ranked #1 in the country for Military Varsity “A” program.
Militia Softball Team is guided by a volunteer board of directors. However, they are different from other softball teams in that we are a small nonprofit organization that does not receive any government or grant assistance. Militia is looking for sponsors who could join a championship team and be interested in expanding the marketing side of their business. If this might interest you or someone you know, please contact Brad Sheffield for sponsorship opportunities.
