Thinking About You

There are several things I have wanted to share with you this week but time has not permitted.  Today, I have a little time so I thought I’d share 5 simple things for you to do to make you a success.

Truly, success is not about how much money we make or how many people we can impress or even of  our influence over people.  Success is really about our relationship with God and if we’re doing what we were put on this earth to do. Everyone has a job to do  so really…when it boils down to it, success is about doing what we’re here to do.

Now, when you think about yourself, what do you think?  I mean; are you creative or serious-minded?  What gifts do you have? Talents?  Are you out-going or tend to stay on the inside track.  Who are you in terms of personality?  What do you do for pleasure? What can you do? For example, can you play piano or simply play the radio and sing along?

All of those things matter regarding your success. Here are 5 suggestions to promote your success:

1.  Make your requests known to God about who you are and what you want to do for Him and by Him.

2.  Get a pen or pencil and take a fresh journal.  Date that spiral and begin now making notes on the things you do, can do and are willing to do.  Determine who you are by way of gifts and talents.  Begin now exercising use of those things that are you.

3.  Set a goal to enact some new task using a gift or talent.  If you sew, look for a need of someone and meet their need. And yes, if if requires that money changes hand because you’re doing a service and need to pay for supplies- do it.

4.  Document in your journal the results of this new venture and then begin to develop your gifts and talents using them on a daily basis.

5.  Turn this new-found venture into a lifestyle, business or hobby and have fun being you.
