Pictures Worth A Thousand Words

These past few months have been difficult for me. I went through some physical trials and concerns, all of which have been  pretty much resolved at this point but while going through the doctor appointments, tests and surgery, it was kind of rough.  I didn’t Facebook it or send out an APB(All Points Bulletin) but let those close to me know so I could benefit from the prayers going upwards. I didn’t know what I was up against and blaring it all for the world seemed like TMIO(Too much information online), so I didn’t post anything.  Looking back, it was a good choice. Now that it’s over, having a little nick and tuck around the tummy turned out okay with only healing time in the future.   Those who knew said they would pray for me and I must say how grateful I have been for those prayers, cards, and calls.

One thing that has been especially nice as I have been pretty much in the house since mid April, has been that my children have printed off photographs for me.  It began while I was waiting for surgery and then the day following surgery I got another set and then as recent as yesterday, I was given even more photographs of family and friends.

Those gestures of love have gone a long way while I was not feeling my best.  These photographs have spoken volumes to me as I have been on my back so much these months and able to view loved ones that I care about.

I recommend giving photographs and framed pictures to anyone who’s having any kind of sickness, up and coming surgery or who is home bound!
