s-1“Honey, will you talk to the manager about the items I bought at the store?” you may ask.  Or, maybe you would say, “I’m going right now to the store to give that manager a piece of my mind!”

It may be in you to say, “Sweetie, can I help you with anything?” But you may say, “What do you want me to do. Tell me now because I’m going shopping”.

You might be the one who says, “I’ll be there at 2:00 sharp”.  On the other hand, you might be one who says, ” Hey, I’ll be there between 2:00- 5:00 p.m.

The personality is a complex thing and we are all so very different.  I used to think everyone thought like me.  I really did and then when things did not go my way, I wondered, ‘What’s wrong with her?”  “What’s wrong with him?”  For real. It certainly wasn’t me!

If  I’ve worked with you or if you’re a family member or acquaintance of mine, I’ve probably wondered, “What is wrong with you?”  LOL and LOL but it’s true!  I’ve probably wondered at one time or another what in the world you’re thinking to make such a decision!

According to the Meyers-Briggs personality organization, there are 16 personality combinations.  This blog does not have the space to cover them all so here’s a basic overview.

You’re probably an extrovert or an introvert.

Your thinking process is probably intuitive or sensing.

You make decisions through feelings or “issue-related” subjects.

You behave in terms of making a judgement or a perception.

1. Extrovert-Introvert- You either talk to think (talk, talk, talk then think)  or think to talk (think, think, think then talk.)

2. Intuitive-Sensing- Intitives “get it”. Sensing folks use taste, touch, feel, hearing, seeing to “get it”.

3.  Feeling-Thinking- Feeling folks “feel” your pain.  Thinking folks use the subject matter to make decisions such as “issues” not feelings.

4.  Judgement-Percepting-  Judgement folks make a decision and stick with it. Percepting folks do not like to be tied down and need more info to make decisions. J folks are rarely late. P folks may be 2 days late!

This is very low-keyed in explanation but it’s a basic overview of you. So, which are you?  Are you E or I?  Are you I or S? Are you F or T? Are you J or P?  I’m an ESTP ( borderline on the F and J).
