It was my parents who really made the difference in my life. What about you? From my early years, they wanted success for me. As far back as I can remember, they did things to bring about accomplishments in my life. From providing me opportunity to stand before a group, to sending me to college, success was being given by my parents.
Both my Mom and Dad are gone now. My Mom passed when I was in my early twenties and last year, my Father died. In recent days, I’ve had opportunity to go through books, papers, photographs and more belonging to my parents. What I see in their belongings is love through action. Photographs show their care for my siblings and my appearance and who we would eventually become. Their obvious love for us typified their hope for our future in that we were given opportunity to go, be and do in life. It is quite evident that our best was in their minds as they prepared for our future in developing our lives through opportunity and events. From various papers, notes and photographs this has been evident.
Talking about making a difference! My parents did that for me and for my siblings alike. I’m so grateful. Who did this for you and who can count on you for that investment?
