In Hanover, Pennsylvania, there sits a beauty of a Mother eagle sitting on a reported 2 baby egg nest. During this cold winter, she’s been up to her neck, literally in snow but has not relented and has stayed with her babies through the cold of it all.
According to the “fast facts” about bald eagles, their nests are the largest bird nest in North America, they mate for life and are “exclusively a bird of North America”. Bald eagles in length range from 28-40 inches and weigh from 8-12 lbs. Both the male and female sit on the nest and can be seen on live cam from this location http://hdontap.com/index.php/video/stream/bald-eagle-live-cam
