Your child’s safety could be in jeopardy if your car seat is not installed correctly. Installing a carseat can be a big challenge. Carrying around that precious cargo is very important therefore installation is too.
To make sure your little one is safe, be sure to attend a child safety kids workshop or nationally certified child passenger safety event.
Prior to having your baby, between 30 – 37 weeks attend a child safety event in your area. You can located a event in your area by visiting Safe Kids. If you are looking for a car seat inspection station be sure to visit Safercar.
Some of these events will have free or discounted car seats available too. If you already have a car seat make sure to install before visiting an event. Bring car seat instructions and car’s owners manual. Also, know your child’s height and weight for correct installation. Grandparents and parents are invited to most event workshops.
