Just like you, I love my family. When possible, we get together and one thing I’ve noticed, we bring things for one another. Some weeks ago Kristie brought toys for the baby. Katie took Kristie an outfit. Katie brought me a special juice to try and today I took Kristie a product that I thought she might enjoy. Last week I noticed flowers on the table from Daniel to Katie. We’re just a bunch of givers!
The things we take one to another are not earth shattering or going to financially break the bank, but they are simple products, tools, treasures and the like that each of us think the other might enjoy. It’s a way of saying without saying “I Love You”, “You matter to me”, “I care about you”.” I thought of you”. ( Although we say “I Love You” too!).
As you move forward in your life and you see something that a family member might enjoy, pick it up for him or her. Drop it off, take it by or mail it. You’ll be more unselfish for it and they will love your act of kindness.
