Have you ever held someone high on a pedestal to find out that person is simply not the person you envisioned? Have you ever looked in the mirror and seen the truth in yourself? What we know is that we are not perfect people. We are fallible and as the scripture so aptly puts it, “There is none righteous, no not one” but that is where God comes into our lives.
It is at that point when we realize we are not perfect and that we do fail. We know we need a Savior and it is only by His Grace that we can overcome our inadequacies and “try again” another day. The Bible says that God looks on the heart and about the heart, the Psalmist said, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
So God is concerned with the issues of life- my life and yours and yes, He provided a way that we can try again another day if first we don’t succeed.
Moment to moment and even every day is new to God. We can begin fresh every single day for His “mercies are new every morning”. Lamentations-
