The Bible tells us that God is a Spirit and that we worship Him in “spirit and in truth”.
I am often amazed at how my needs are met. I don’t know about you but so very often things occur in my life in which I have no control. Some event or action happens and when completed it met a need that obviously was of a divine nature. ‘Nothing I did to cause it to occur but the follow-through made all of the difference in my situation.
Such is the case this week. For some time I have had an issue with my rental that needed to be dealt with but I have not had the time or money to complete it. It has weighed on my mind but I’ve felt as if my hands have been tied. The concern of not only who could tackle the problem but the general cost and the time to get it all done has been of contemplation. And, of late, I have had some health issues with which to deal which threw an even more lengthy separation of getting anything done. I felt as if I could not monitor the job even if I had a team to do it.
Out of the blue, my nephew and I had conversation this past week and the next thing I knew, he’s over at my place taking the bull by the horns and completing the task to be done.
You might ask, “How can I get God to do this for me?” Trust Him today. “Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you”. Talk with Him. Ask Jesus to come in to your heart and then trust Him for your every need.
How does God work? He works through His own. I am so grateful and thankful for His matchless grace and I’m thankful that he used my nephew to do His work.
