thThis is such an exciting day. I wish you were here as my new computer booted. If you are the owner of one of these fabulous machines then you to understand the joy of the Apple startup noise. As you may know, the sound was brought to life by Jim Reekes when he wanted to provide an “ommmm” sound at the turning on of the Mac computer. At first, his management team said “no” but once they heard it, the sound became staple to an Apple computer.  This sound, in fact allows you to know your computer is in good working order so it is music to the ears of a Mac lover like myself.

This incredible start-up sounds means so much to so many of us. What does it mean to you?If you’re not a Mac lover- nothing, of course but what about you Mac lovers? Refreshment? Power? At ease? Comfort? Productivity? Relaxation?

This sound takes me back to my childhood. My Mother had an Apple  back in days of the gray screen.  Back then there were no graphics but the sound of the Apple computer was a trademark then as it is now.

For some time, I’ve needed to upgrade my computer and so I settled with a 27 inch desk top and empowerment is what I feel as I’ve opened it and began working.   What I know is that this  iMac is for you and me to communicate. How great is that? It was once a request that became reality yesterday. A big thanks to my husband,  DanielBoy and Mom, Josie They are both HUGE contributors in this investment. All the CDS support coming from my family and you is just grand. I had to share the moment!

P. S If you are unaware of the start-up sound an apple products makes you are missing out on something great. Visit an Apple store and ask them to just let you turn on a Mac. The rest will be “his tory”.  It’s a no brainer – Buy a Mac today! (I am not a paid advertiser but I’d like to be cause stock just split 7-1 and it’s going even now at $129 a share!  LOL!)
