We all love something free. Don’t we? Isn’t it everyone’s dream to go somewhere and get something free? I love to go to the bank for example and get a free pen. I hate to go to the doctor’s office but I like the free pen there too. Sometimes going to a baby or wedding shower gets me a free gift (which I grudgingly give to the honored party! LOL) but it was free and I was so happy to get it and deep down happy to give it away too!

When I went to President George W. Bush’s inaugural ball, I got in free but the person who let me use his ticket said he wanted the “free” gift they were giving. I ended up getting one free anyhow because as each person went out the door they just handed them out randomly. I love free stuff and that one was a perk because it had “White House” ingraved on it. Yay!

Well, we can get and give out free stuff at every turn on Craigslist. Craigslist, the online money machine maker (Anyone can make a buck on Craigslist if they want to!) has a “free” area. I enjoy looking at it and often wish I could drive across town to pick up a “roadside” free thing but more often than not refrain. I have enough of my own plunder and it’s very time consuming to rush across town to find it’s been already taken. Argh!

This past week, my daughter, Kristie and I had a compost globe to give away…free! So, she posted it on Criagslist and we put it on the corner in plain view.  Within a short time it was gone. I know they were happy! They had to be because it was nice, clean and now they are going to grow their own worms! Yay for them! Yay for the environment and yay for fishermen everywhere who love to catch brim!  (Brim fish love worms).

So, if you have something you’re wanting, look on the free area of Craigslist. If you have something to give away, post it on Craigslist and put your location area. Within a short time, you will either be running across town to pick up your free item or you will have someone happy, happy, happy taking your treasure!
