Have you ever looked around and wondered, how those near you are doing? I often wonder what is going on in the person’s life beside me. Really.  While sitting at a stop light recently, I saw a woman and wondered, “Does she have a husband, wife or children?”  “Is she burdened with a death, addiction or health issues?” Living on this earth comes with so much disappointment and sadness at times.  Even in my own life,  things are great and then something goes wrong and then it subsides and life is good again.  Often, we live on a roller coaster life.

One thing I always try to do when I’m hit with a struggle is read the Bible. Searching for answers that may not be perfectly clear to me is the only way I know to try to figure out what’s going on in my own life.

Do you have struggles in life, with something or someone?  You want to find answers.  Right?

These last few months my heart has longed for answers. As you may know if you follow my blog, the loss of my Grandfather passing away has brought about many questions.  Also, someone dear to me has been sick lately and it just makes me wonder “why?”.  I have dug deep trying to find answers and find solace and healing in God’s Word.   As I heart has ached and called out for help, I’ve found several scriptures that have helped me.

Exodus 15: 26

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Exodus 23:25

And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Psalm 6:2

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

Psalm 41:3

The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

Psalm 103

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

Psalm 118:17

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Whatever your situation is there is peace in Jesus.
