I am currently a wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, aunt, and friend. Keeping up with everyone, even with social media is tough. Reaching out to others can be hard and we are all “trying to keep our heads above water.”

The favorite “busy” term is just a lack of drive in that direction. We are all busy in our own way. Everyone’s time is valuable, therefore we need to act like it. Having a baby really helped me see this.

Yesterday, my mother called and asked to visit a bit. When she arrived, I quickly jumped in the shower.(It’s a better shower when someone’s watching the baby!)  When returning to the kitchen, I found my Mom prepping my dinner for the evening. GO MOM! GO MOM! That’s what I’m talking about! I meal-plan but there is nothing like a surprise,  hassle-free dinner made with love from your Mama.

When Mom left the house yesterday, the toys were picked up, clothes folded, her grandson ready for a nap and dinner prepped. There is nothing like someone doing something for you “just because.” And, she is no different than the rest of us… She’s BUSY too!

Acts 20:35 says: “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
