The new year is quickly approaching with the promise of great things ahead.

Take the time to properly prepare for 2015. Sure, you could relax and roll into the new year as you have done in years past, but why not put some extra energy into molding a year of desires worthy of your efforts.

Here are some critical steps to the promise a successful year.

1.  Re-energize

Regroup your thinking.  Renew your thoughts. Reconstruct your future and how you invision it.

2.  Focus on the path ahead without punishing yourself for mistakes in the past. Ask for forgiveness.  You cannot go back and correct old errors so you must simply “ask for forgiveness” and go forward.

3.   Make commitments you will keep.  As you set your future in motion, agree with yourself about those things you can and will be able to do. Why commit to do something you would not be able to do? Of course not! Frustration beyond words. So commit those things you CAN accomplish

4.  Be the person you in-vision starting today. Asking yourself questions like: What adventures are ahead? Who am I to meet?  How do I gain more wisdom from God?  What are areas that I need to improve? Do I need to rectify any situations? What will be my inspirations for this coming year?

5.  Create a list of goals for the new year. As you ask yourself “What are my 2015 goals?” Use a journal or calendar to list things you want to occur this coming year.   Check them off as you go! How fun is that?
